Abstract
Si presenta la produzione bibliografica di Pietro Clemente fino all’anno 2004. Il lavoro si compone di due parti. La prima parte vede gli scritti organizzati secondo un ordine cronologico; la seconda parte della bibliografia invece è organizzata per temi, seguendo l’International Bibliography of Social Sciences. Classificare i testi seguendo questo standard bibliografico è stata forse la fase più complessa del lavoro sia da un punto di vista pratico sia concettuale, ma il risultato stato molto interessante perché l’ordinamento prodotto ha permesso di identificare filoni tematici — che in una bibliografia ordinata cronologicamente sono più difficilmente individuabili — e di correlarli a periodi precisi. L’impressione che si ricava leggendo la bibliografia ordinata secondo l’International Bibliography of Social Sciences è che Pietro Clemente ha scritto principalmente di storia degli studi e che si è occupato soprattutto di musei, storia della mezzadria, scrittura, canti, feste, fiabe e che tutte queste sono state studiate soprattutto in Toscana. La Toscana è al centro dei suoi interessi dagli anni ’70 fino ad oggi.
We here publish a summary of Pietro Clemente’s bibliographic production up to year 2004. In the first part, Clemente’s writings are presented in a chronological order. In the second, they follow a thematic order based on the International Bibliography of Social Sciences. For practical as well as for conceptual reasons, the hardest task faced in the construction of this summary was the thematic classification of the author’s writings according to the bibliographical standard. The result, however, is of great interest as it allows us to identify thematic trends that would otherwise be difficult to trace through chronological classification, as well as it gives a chronological reference to such trends. Reading Clemente’s bibliography through the criteria of the International bibliography of Social Sciences we can see he mostly wrote on the history of studies and mostly worked on museums, sharecropping history, writing, songs and festivals. Tuscany is his major field of study, and it has been since the Seventies.
