Abstract
L’autrice fa una rapida rassegna delle indagini Otto-Novecentesche sulle concezioni relative alla morte e sui comportamenti funebri della Sardegna. Si sofferma poi più diffusamente sui documenti pubblicati tra il 1833 e 11 1856 dal poligrafo Vittorio Angùes, documenti che per l’estensione creale, la varietà tematica e la ricchezza di dettagli e varianti, costituiscono tuttora un punto di riferimento essenziale per gli studi sull’argomento.
The author provides a quick overview of XIX and XX Centuries’ inquiries on beliefs about death and funerary practices in Sardinia. She then focuses on the documents that polygraphist Vittorio Angius produced between 1833 and 1856. For their wide geographical range, their thematic variety and richness in details and variants, they remain today an essential reference for any study on the subject.
